We had been planning for quite some time to meet my sister Paige and her husband at Lagoon. It was finally the right weekend, so I bought 4 discount adult tickets from work. Originally $42.95+ tax and I got them for $35. About an hour after I bought them, Paig
e was watching a commercial (she gets Utah news) and there was a Ch 2 Appreciation week,
where it was Buy One Get One Free at Lagoon the 15th-20th! WHAT?!? I just bought ours for $70! I was bound a determined to get them sold, so we could participate in the discount.
I had a lot of calls. Just no success.
Oh well, we had already planned the amount paid into our budget, so I was trying to get over the idea that we paid more than we could have.
We woke up bright and early and headed out at about 7:1
5am. The trip was great. I ended up driving the whole way there so that Garrett could get a few more Zzz's since he'd been working doubles the past week. He had also
told his cousin we'd stop
by in Ogden for some breakfast. We arrived there, ate and ran, and then went to Lagoon.
When we got to Lagoon, it was SOOO BUSY! Holy Crap! I went to go get Kaden his ticket, where as it was cheaper than the $35, and low and behold, only the ppl that were requesting the BOGO tickets were receiving them. So Garrett decided to try and sell our tickets to someone. If they didn't know about the BOGO at least they were gonna get a few bucks off, right? AND IT
WORKED! The first people he offered them too, took them! That saved us like $28!!!!
We had so much fun there! We started off at Lagoon A Beach, where it was so busy, we knew it'd be at full capacity later if we waited.
And the best thing!! Kaden is now tall enough to ride most the kiddie rides by himself. Its funny watching a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds stand in line...they have no idea what they're doing! LOL
Kaden loved the swings, and his face was just priceless!!!
Both of us on the Carousel. You definetly have to wash your hands when your done. Yuck.
Riding the Carousel for probably the 3rd time! He loved it.
This cracked me up! There were no pedals to push, but the kids weren't grasping the idea that once you turned your wheel to get it moving, you had to straighten it out...Kaden basically just went in complete circles the entire time!
so glad you had fun! maybe next year I will get to take COrbin!
